You’re not eligible for an Azure free account

I am trying to create an Azure Free Account, but I receive the message:

“You’re not eligible for an Azure free account.”

I have not previously used an Azure Free Trial or Azure subscription. My Microsoft account, personal information, phone number, and payment details are valid and correctly entered.

Could you please review my account eligibility and help me access the Azure Free Trial? I am interested only in the Free Account offer and do not want to create a Pay-As-You-Go subscription.

This would imply that your credit card has been used in the past as a payment for an Azure subscription (not necessarily the free one)
