I purchased family 365 license from best buy but I cannot read the first few characters of the product key on the receipt so I can download the software onto my computer and my daughter new laptop

Since the Microsoft 365 key was purchased from Best Buy and part of it is unreadable, you will need to contact Best Buy support or visit the store with your receipt. Microsoft cannot retrieve or replace a retail product key purchased from another seller.

Was this purchased in a store or online?

Is the key printed on the receipt, a card inside the box, or in your Best Buy account order details?
