Laptop keybord not working at all.

I carried out a system restore. The system told me an error had occurred and the procedure was stopped and returned to original settings, but I found that the physical keyboard did not work at all. I checked the keyboard situation on the Device Manager and found a fault existed on the keyboard section. I reinstalled the driver but no change occurred to the problem.

What was displayed on the Device Manager, keyboard section;

Windows cannot verify the digital signature for the drivers required for this device. A recent hardware or software change might have installed a file that is signed incorrectly or damaged, or that might be malicious software from an unknown source. (Code 52).

Thank you for that information.

In your screenshot it is indicated the keyboard driver and touchpad drivers are not installed correctly.

The best option would be to go to the support page for your laptop on the manufacturers website to download and install the Chipset drivers and Touchpad drivers they recommend.

Then restart your laptop, and if the keyboard is still not working, right click the keyboard in Device Manager, and uninstall it, then restart your laptop. If you have any difficulty locating that support page, click your Start Button, then just type msinfo and press Enter, please provide a screenshot of the resulting System Information window.

    1

Open Command Prompt, then paste in this command and press Enter:

    msdt.exe -id KeyboardDiagnostic

Run that Keyboard Troubleshooter to see if that can solve the problem.

    2

If that does not resolve this for you

    Open Device Manager

    Expand the Keyboards section

Right click your keyboard and choose 'Uninstall'

    Then restart your PC

    3

If the problem is still not resolved:

Please provide a screenshot of your full Device Manager window.
