Is it possible to use a personal offline Office 365 license that I purchased on a company computer that also has a licensed online Office 365 version?

Question 1: If a genuine Microsoft license and a cracked or unauthorized KMS activation are both present on the same business computer, the unauthorized activation is still a license violation. A legitimate license does not "cancel out" the use of a cracked activation. Businesses should remove any unauthorized KMS activators or pirated product keys and ensure Windows and Office are activated only through valid Microsoft licenses or an authorized organizational KMS/Active Directory-based activation service.

Question 2: In general, Microsoft 365 Apps can be installed and activated with your personal Microsoft account on a company computer if your personal subscription permits it. However, whether you should do so depends on your employer's policies. Many organizations prohibit or discourage personal software licenses on managed devices for security, compliance, and support reasons. If your company already provides a Microsoft 365 license, it is usually best to use the company-issued account for the desktop apps. If you only need occasional access to personal files, using Office on the web with your personal account avoids mixing personal and corporate licensing on the same device. If your employer permits personal accounts on company devices, you do not necessarily have to remove your personal subscription, but you should confirm that doing so complies with company policy.

I would like to clarify two points regarding Office 365 licensing on company computers:

1. If a genuine license and a cracked (KMS) key coexist on the same machine, this situation constitutes a copyright violation and is not compliant with intellectual property law.
2. Using a personal offline Office 365 license on a company computer alongside the company’s online Office 365 license is technically possible. However, to ensure compliance and proper management, it is advisable to consult directly with the company’s IT administrator before proceeding.
