Azure Comm Services Regulatory Process

I submitted a Regulatory Application for sending toll-free SMS messages using Azure Communication Services on June 23rd. On June 29th I received notification my application was rejected for a few reasons that were corrected and resubmitted that same day. It has now been 30 days since the re-submission, but the application status still shows 'Submitted'. I have submitted all the required fields, including the four new ones mentioned during my failed attempt at opening a support ticket.

Hi @Vincent Allen

The application process can sometimes take up to 8 weeks. Since you mentioned it's been 30 days since you submitted your application, it's still within the expected processing timeframe.

In the meantime, you can check Telephony and SMS > Phone Numbers or Regulatory Documents to view the current status of your application and see if the reviewer has left any notes or requested additional information.

Thanks Ajay, but two weeks later and it still shows "Submitted". My concern is that instead of providing a screen shot on one of the required pages, I sent the actual URL. And as I understand it, the automated review process is incapable to "seeing" the web page when a link is provided. I don't have the ability to update the application, so I fear it is stuck in limbo.

Additionally, it took only six days to reject my first submission, so waiting another month and a half makes it seem like it's stuck.

Can you please confirm my application is still under review, awaiting carrier action, or requires additional information? I have a client who I promised this functionality. Please help.

It appears that the application is still being rejected and requires additional updates. The latest feedback includes the following:

Error code if available:

- _1303 - The use case "AppNotifications" does not have a tie to distributing sales leads. Additionally_ - _1501 - The privacy policy has no statement that opt-in data will not be shared or sold for marketing purposes. Best_

Actions to Resolve:

Every use case you select needs a matching description in the summary. If you've selected more than one, describe each separately.

Include an accessible Privacy Policy link in your CTA. Disclose what data you collect and how you use it. Explicitly state that mobile data and opt-in consent won't be shared with third parties for marketing.
