Start up Error Code:0xc0000098 - File missing. This means that my laptop isn't working. I have not made a recovery USB copy of windows 11 from my laptop, and cannot now make one as the laptop isn't working due to the start up error. Am I allowed to use a recovery copy of windows from a different computer (and license of windows) to reinstall windows on my broken computer? Thank you.

Hi,

The answer to your question is yes, you can, since the Media is independent of the license.

During installation, if prompted for a product key, select I don't have a product key. Windows should automatically reactivate after installation if your laptop previously had a genuine Windows 11 digital license and you install the same edition (Home or Pro).
