Subject: Artifact Signing - Face Check fails repeatedly, one-time

verification link consumed, cannot retry

Organization: Koukku Kapital Oy (Finland)

Subscription ID: 45659501-a718-4c7d-b1bf-2b3874d49976

Artifact Signing account: koukku-signing (North Europe)

Identity validation requests, both Public / Organization:

  1. 9c54d2e5-8087-41cd-aa1b-1d1ffc550f3e - Validation Fail (deleted)
  2. bd3b0605-fafa-4e89-ad12-4240058ab5d4 - Face Check failed

Problem:

Individual identity verification (Verified ID / FaceCheck) fails with

"Error: Face Check failed - We could not verify your identity."

This happened on two separate requests. The second attempt was made with

a new Verified ID, the previous credential removed from Microsoft

Authenticator, and strong direct lighting.

The verification link is single-use. After the FaceCheck failure it

returns "No Access - Sorry, this link has been used already", and the

portal link under "Please complete your verification here" points to the

same consumed URL. There is therefore no way to retry the face check

without deleting and recreating the entire request.

Deleting the request also failed once with:

"An error occured while deleting request. Request data is updated by

some other source."

CorrelationId: e1ba7092-4640-a8ff-8e65-dc2411454820

Constraint that may be relevant:

The only government-issued photo ID available is a Finnish driving

licence (no passport). Finnish driving licences do not show a home

address, and the photo may be several years old.

Requested help:

  1. Reissue a fresh verification link for request bd3b0605-fafa-4e89-ad12-4240058ab5d4 without recreating it, or
  2. Provide a document-based alternative to biometric FaceCheck for organization identity validation.
