Updating Office 365 Licence

Greetings

We are a small volunteer-based charity. We obtained a free Office 365 Primum licence through https://www.techsoup.ca/

My Office application keeps notifying me that my subscription expires in a few days.  I checked the https://www.techsoup.ca/ site, and I learned that the free option has been cancelled and replaced by a chargeable new plan, Office 365 Enterprise E3.

I need your help to migrate from the Free Microsoft 365 Primum to the licensed Office 365 Enterprise E3 using the charity pricing, which I believe is $16.32

I am nontechnical and hope you can give me a simple step-by-step plan on how to do that.

I hope you can help me.

Hi Baha Habashy

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

Based on your description, I understand that you are using a Microsoft 365 nonprofit subscription through TechSoup Canada and would like assistance with transitioning to the Microsoft 365 Enterprise E3 nonprofit plan.

Since your nonprofit subscription was obtained through TechSoup Canada, I recommend contacting TechSoup Canada directly. They can provide guidance on the available nonprofit subscription options, pricing, and the steps required to transition to Microsoft 365 Enterprise E3.

Thank you for your understanding. Please let me know if you have any further questions.

    Thank you for your answer.

We decided to switch to the Office 365 family plan instead; this way, we can use it with other family members as well. Can you please give me step-by-step instructions on how to make the switch?

    1. Do I need to cancel the not-for-profit account?
    2. When I purchase the family pack, can I use an existing email and phone number?
    3. Is there a simple way to migrate my OneDrive data, or should I just let it replicate to a new OneDrive?

Sorry, I am an 84-year-old man and may be a bit slow on this stuff.

    Thanks again.
