Hi Howard,

It sounds that the other thread has been deleted somehow. But I have the previous correspondence in my mail.

Please open Command Prompt (admin) and run this command.

reg delete HKLM\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Power /f

Open Power Options now.

Note:

There was a mistake in the earlier command I posted. The above is the correct one.
