I cant access my business MS365 accounts

I got a Business MS365 subscription two days ago, and now I can't access any of it. When I try to log in, I'm taken to a page to enter an authenticator code, which I don't remember setting up, so there's no way to get it. I can't access the Outlook emails sent by Microsoft support. I need another way to access the emails so I can move forward, or I will just cancel my MS365 and find something else.

So in essence, my issue is that I don't have access to the authenticator codes that I need to sign into any of the MS365 apps or admin center, so that I can fix this. I don't even get the option to have the code sent to my alternate email. I have tried calling support 8 times, and all I get is the AI assistant. After trying to get through to a person, it hangs up after telling me to check my email for assistance, but the Outlook emails are part of the system I can't access due to the authenticator issue.

I do have a support ticket number. [Moderator note: Personally Identifiable Information removed]. But I can't sign in to access the support system.

Hi John,

First of all, thank you for taking the time to share the details of your situation. I completely understand the importance of regaining access to your Microsoft 365 account, especially when access to your email and support communications is currently tied to the authentication process. I appreciate your patience and the efforts you've already made to work through this issue.

From what you've described, it appears that your account requires an MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication) reset. Unfortunately, this is not something that can be performed through the moderator forum.

I reviewed and can see that your support ticket is already being handled by a support agent. At this point, I would kindly recommend continuing to work directly with that agent, as the data protection team is the only team with the tools, permissions, and access required to verify your account and assist with an MFA reset.

As a moderator forum, I do not have access to customer accounts, support tickets, or any administrative tools that would allow me to make changes to your authentication settings.

I understand this may not be the answer you were hoping for, but the support team currently handling your ticket is in the best position to help resolve the issue.

If you have any additional questions or need clarification on anything discussed here, please feel free to reply back and I'll do my best to guide you.

Thank you for your understanding.
