Yep, that is correct, that would reset your HWID to the original HWID.

2026-07-17T08:00:12.3433333+00:00 I used a hwid spoofer and I will admit that it was very dumb of me to even use one in the first place to get rid of a game ban. But now I had just created a new account on a game and im not able to play the game because my HWID is changed and so I just want to know if i can restore to my orginal HWID.

2026-07-17T08:07:47.6066667+00:00 It depends on what utility you used, if that was just a HWID spoofer, then if you backup your files and clean install Windows using a bootable USB, that should reset your HWID, but if it was a HWID changer, then it is not possible to revert to the previous HWID.
