Hello support,

A few days ago I was prompted to re-enter my login credentials for my personal OneDrive on my desktop computer. After clicking the "re-enter credentials" button in the OneDrive client, I am prompted for my Windows Hello PIN code, and after that I get a dialogue box that says "choose a way to sign in" but there are no available options besides clicking the back button. The issue persists across both my desktop computer, as well as my personal laptop computer, but it does not prevent me from signing in to Windows or signing into OneDrive through my browser. I do, however, get a notification in Edge prompting me to "verify it's you" and when I follow those steps I end up with the same result. I have tried clearing all of my Windows credentials through Credential Manager, as well as signing into my Microsoft account online and signing out everywhere, but neither option has worked. I have also checked for Windows updates and I am up to date. I do not have a desktop license for Office365 so I cannot test other Office apps to see if they are also affected.

Hi!

You mentioned that you signed out of your Microsoft account on all devices. Regarding your computer, did you sign out and sign back in within the browser, or did you also do so in Windows?

If you haven't done this in Windows, sign out and sign back in to your account to resolve synchronization issues like these:

  1. Open Windows Settings > Accounts > Your info > Under Microsoft account, click Sign in as a local account.
  2. Click Next > Enter your email or Windows login password.
  3. Enter your user information > Next > Sign out and finish.
  4. After unlinking your email account from Windows, restart your PC > When it starts, relink your email account.
