Unsolicited WhatsApp Verification Codes / Security Inquiry

Hello Microsoft Support Team,

I am reaching out regarding unusual security activities tied to my phone number. I recently received unrequested Microsoft verification codes directly through WhatsApp.

After thoroughly reviewing the "Recent activity" logs for both accounts, I can confirm there have been absolutely no unusual or suspicious log-in attempts. Furthermore, if this were a standard credential stuffing attempt on my accounts, I would expect to receive these codes either via standard SMS or through a secondary recovery email address (like Gmail), rather than specifically through WhatsApp.

Because there is no corresponding activity on my accounts, I am concerned that my phone number might have been mistakenly linked to someone else's account, or is being targeted in a different manner. Could you please help me investigate why these specific WhatsApp codes are being generated and ensure my phone number is secure?
