Locked out of Admin because of 2FA

I have recently become the IT administrator for a small nonprofit organization. I have the username and password for our admin Microsoft 365 account, but I cannot access the admin control panel because the 2FA phone number and authenticator app belonged to someone who is no longer with the organization.

I tried to call phone support, but after explaining my problem and spending about 10 minutes on the phone, the automated system put me on hold for a few seconds, told me it was glad I could solve my problem, and hung up. I am not sure where else besides the forum because the M365 business email support is behind the admin panel, which I do not have access to.
