I have two Microsoft 365 Personal subscriptions. I think one is from the Microsoft Store and the other is from Microsoft.com.

I was billed twice, one subscription hit my credit card for $99.99 and the other hit my credit card for $108.24. I want to cancel one of these subscriptions and get refunded.

Hi, I'm John! I will help you with this.

To help narrow down the issue:

  1. Are both charges from the same Microsoft account/email?
  2. Did you have more than one subscription (for example Personal and Family)?
  3. Where do you see the charges, bank statement or Microsoft account?

In the meantime, if you haven’t already:

If you haven’t checked yet, please go to https://account.microsoft.com/services and review your subscriptions, look for any active subscriptions, expired or duplicate ones, and make sure you’re signed into the correct account, as this can happen if you have two Microsoft accounts, auto-renew was left on for an old plan, or a second subscription was accidentally started.

Once you check, tell me what you see.

    Hi John,

    1. Both charges are from the same Microsoft Account, both under my email.
    2. I have two subscriptions, one is definitely Microsoft 365 Personal. The second subscription does not specifically say, but I think it is also 365 Personal.
    3. One subscription is charged to my credit card, and the second subscription is charged to my checking account, (debit card)

I can see my two subscriptions with account numbers and can see where I can cancel one of them. However, since the subscription is for the same product, I'd like to request a refund for one of them. Do you have a suggestion on where I can do that?

Thanks for your quick response and getting me to the right place to see both my subscriptions. Very much appreciated!
