Is this a problem with the headphones or Windows.. When I switch to wired it works but if I use Bluetooth it will automatically pause any audio from Spotify, YouTube or Netflix after a second.. I use the Razer Kraken Kitty V3 pro and I'm running the latest version of Razer Synapse and Windows, I have restarted my laptop, I've forgotten the headphones and paired them again, I've tried practically everything.. Please help!!! I have charged them overnight so they're not on low battery..

Welcome Jade,

I understand how frustrating it can be when your Razer Kraken Kitty V3 Pro works correctly when connected by cable, but when using Bluetooth, audio from Spotify, YouTube, and Netflix pauses automatically after about a second.

Since another responder has already asked about the computer model, Bluetooth hardware, and testing the headset on other devices, I have a couple of additional questions:

  • Does the audio pause only when the headset microphone is enabled, or does it also happen if you temporarily disable the headset microphone in Sound settings?
  • Did this behavior start after a recent Windows update, driver update, or Synapse update?

In the meantime, you can try these steps below to troubleshoot the issue:

Option 1: Disable Hands-Free Telephony for the headset

  • Press Windows + R, type control printers, and press Enter
  • Right-click the Razer headset and select Properties
  • Open the Services tab
  • Clear Handsfree Telephony
  • Select Apply and restart the headset connection

Option 2: Set the stereo playback device as default

  • Open Settings > System > Sound
  • Under Output, select the Razer stereo playback device
  • Make sure the Hands-Free or Headset device is not set as the default output

Option 3: Reinstall the Bluetooth audio profile

  • Open Device Manager > expand Bluetooth
  • Right-click the Razer headset entries and select Uninstall device
  • Restart the PC
  • Pair the headset again

Option 4: Disable audio enhancements

  • Open Settings > System > Sound
  • Select the Razer headset
  • Open Audio enhancements
  • Set it to Off

Option 5: Check Bluetooth power management

  • Open Device Manager > expand Bluetooth
  • Open the properties of the Bluetooth adapter
  • On the Power Management tab, clear Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power

I hope the steps above help you deal with your issue.

    Hi!

Is your computer a desktop or a laptop? Please provide the manufacturer and model.

    • Press Windows + R > Type "msinfo32" > Send me a screenshot of the System Summary.

If it is a desktop, do you use a Bluetooth adapter, or does your motherboard have built-in Bluetooth?

    • If it has built-in Bluetooth, are the antennas connected correctly?

Do other Bluetooth devices work? Test other devices, such as a speaker, to verify if the issue lies with the Bluetooth driver.

    • I also recommend testing the headphones on another computer or on your mobile phone.
