Constant "Update Payment" Billing Alerts even after subscription payment is complete

Dear Team,

I am constantly getting "Update Payment" alert even after paying the amount for my Office 365 subscription.

Could you please check and let me know what I can do about it?

This is a widely reported problem in the Office apps at the moment, this is either caused by an Office update or a server side problem.

Open Word.

At the top right of Word, log out of Office.

Restart (not shut down) your PC, then log back into Office, does that stop the annoying payment update popups in the Office apps.
