School License will expire soon

I had purchased this product from Amazon India for a lifetime license. just 4 months I am getting expiration message. Seller left amazon, so cannot contact. Need assistance to understand my position.

    If you purchased a Microsoft365 license and the seller told you its lifetime, then its probably not a genuine license. Amazon is just a marketplace with all sorts of sellers. Buyers beware.

    A few clues that your license is not genuine

    1. Its Microsoft365, but says lifetime. xxxxx365 products are subscription based.
    2. It says Office Pro Plus or has LTSC in the name. These are sold in volume to corporates, not individual users
    3. It is 50-70% cheaper than regular Microsoft prices. Microsoft reseller makes single digit % margins only.

    If you unfortunately purchased an incorrect license from a problematic seller, you don't have much of a choice than to purchase the genuine license, either from Microsoft direct, or a reputable Microsoft reseller.

    Open Word, then go to File - Account.

    Please provide a screenshot of that window, and please hide your Email address in the screenshot.

    Do you find the Office licence linked to your account there, and if so, what version of Office is lsited there.
