How can I remove a .pst from my outlook calendar. I must have subscribed and I get pop up that requests sign up and I want to eliminate the shared calendar access and stop the pop up.

    Hi Nicole,

Based on your description, it sounds like one of these scenarios:

    1. An Internet Calendar subscription was added to Outlook (Google Calendar, iCloud, SharePoint calendar, etc.).
    2. A shared calendar was opened and Outlook keeps trying to authenticate to it.
    3. An pst file exists in Outlook and is generating sign-in prompts.

Since you're using Classic Outlook for Windows, try the following:

Scenario 1: Remove the calendar subscription

    1. Open Outlook.
    2. Go to File > Account Settings > Account Settings. User's image
    3. Select the Internet Calendars tab.
    4. If you see the calendar listed, select it and click Remove.

Scenario 2: Remove a shared calendar

    1. Switch to Calendar view.
    2. In the left navigation pane, locate the unwanted calendar.
    3. Right-click the calendar, and then select Delete Group or Delete Calendar. Outlook asks you if you want to remove the group or calendar and move its contents into the Deleted Items folder.
    4. Select Yes to confirm the deletion.

The calendar is removed from the folder pane and no longer appears in the Calendar. Because you were viewing a copy, the source calendar remains intact and only your copy gets deleted.

    Scenario 3: Remove the PST

If you see a data file with .pst:

    1. Go to File > Account Settings > Account Settings.
    2. Open the Data Files tab.
    3. Select .pst file
    4. Click Remove.

If the sign-in popup persists, the popup usually indicates Outlook is still trying to connect to a calendar that requires authentication. Check:

    • File > Account Settings > Internet Calendars for any remaining subscriptions.
    • The left-side Calendar pane for calendars you can uncheck or remove.
    • Whether the popup references a specific account, URL, or service (Google, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, iCloud, etc.).

I hope this provides enough clarity and helps you stay inform with your current situation.
