I have purchased a subscription for Office 2024 - I am following the instructions from this page: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/lifecycle/officeinstall/download-install-or-reinstall-microsoft-365-or-office-2024-on-a-pc-or-mac
After I have entered the product key (which it accepts and lets me onto the next page) I choose the language, then I can download 64 bit or 32 bit. Whichever option I choose I get the page https://officeredir.microsoft.com/r/rlidO15C2RServiceOutage and nothing actually downloads. I have tried different browsers but the problem is the same.

What version of Office did you purchase, is that Office Home 2024, Office Pro Plus 2024 or a subscription to Microsoft 365 Personal or Family, and where did you purchase the Office licence, was that from an online retailer?
As Dave said, the product name is crucial here. If someone led you to believe that you could install a volume license product such as Office Professional 2024 or Office Professional Plus 2024 for consumer (home) use, you have been scammed, I am afraid. Im having the same issue but I bought a key instead of the subscription.
It takes my key, let me chose between 64bjt and 32bit and then goes to:

Hi, i have unfortunately the same issue here. In my case, i bought a Licence Key via online retailer for "Office 2024 Standard" Mac version and if I follow the registration instructions I'm also forwarded to the service outage link. Any help much appreciated.
I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but the error message you see is because someone has sold you volume license products of Office. These are only for organizations, not for consumer (home) use.
You should contact the seller and try and get your money back.
The only one-time payment licenses for consumers are Office Home 2024 and Office Home & Business 2024. These are for one user and one computer (PC or Mac). No online storage included. Only Home & Business includes classic Outlook.
