Unable to log in to Microsoft account in xbox and store on multiple computers.

On two different computers inside two different households, I have been unable to log into my account and have gotten the same errors on both. I have tried every solution provided to me online on both computers and still am unable to log in.
When I enter the correct information, it immediately sends me to a error screen that says "You'll need the internet for this." Error code 0x800704cf. On my current computer, it only started doing this recently, as before instead I was getting an error code 0x000000D on the Xbox Gaming Services.
I'm really at my last leg here.
Both devices are running an up-to-date windows 11, I have tried flushing the ip, deleting the credentials, starting the services, reinstalling, editing network settings, and looking on the support page of Xbox. None of it has helped. Am able to log onto both sites on a website, but I cannot use any gaming services due to it not letting me log onto the apps themselves.
Does anyone have a fix for this?

Follow these steps in order on one of the affected Windows 11 PCs; if it works there, repeat on the other.

    1. Reset the Microsoft Store cache
      1. Press Windows key + R.
      2. Type wsreset.exe and select OK.
      3. A blank Command Prompt opens; after ~10 seconds it closes and Microsoft Store opens automatically.
      4. Try signing in again in Microsoft Store and the Xbox app.
    2. Update Windows and Microsoft Store
      1. Go to Start > Settings > Windows Update > Check for updates and install any available updates.
      2. Open Microsoft Store.
      3. Select Library > Get updates and let Store update itself and installed apps.
      4. Retry sign-in in Store and Xbox app.
    3. Refresh Gaming Services (for Xbox / gaming sign-in issues)
      1. Open PowerShell as Administrator.
      2. Run:
              get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-AppxPackage -allusers

      3. In the same PowerShell window, run:
              start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN

      4. In the Store page that opens, install Gaming Services (accept the UAC prompt).
      5. After installation, try signing in again in the Xbox app and launching Gaming Services–dependent features.
    4. Refresh the Xbox app (if used)
      1. Ensure the PC is in the RETAIL sandbox (if previously used dev sandboxes).
      2. Open PowerShell as Administrator.
      3. Run:
              get-appxpackage Microsoft.XboxApp | remove-AppxPackage -allusers

      4. In the same PowerShell window, run:
              start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9mv0b5hzvk9z

      5. Install the Xbox app from the Store page.
      6. Open the Xbox app and sign in with the same Microsoft account used in Microsoft Store.
    5. Check for sandbox / Xbox services issues (if developing or using dev builds) If using Xbox services in a development context (GDK, dev sandboxes):
      1. Ensure the device is set to the correct development sandbox.
      2. Confirm the account being used has access to that sandbox (test account or authorized developer account in Partner Center).
      3. Ensure the title’s service configuration is published to the same sandbox; otherwise sign-in to Xbox network will fail.
    6. If sign-in issues persist across devices Use the Microsoft account Sign-in Helper tool to check for broader account sign-in issues and follow the guidance there. For general Microsoft account sign-in problems, also review the additional help links under “Additional help for Microsoft account sign-in issues”.

If, after these steps, Store and Xbox sign-in still fail on multiple PCs while web sign-in works, capture the exact error codes and contact Xbox/Microsoft account support, referencing that Gaming Services, Store cache, and Xbox app have already been reset and reinstalled.
