Hi, I can’t log in to my work accounts in teams and one drive. I changed phones and it doesn’t allow me to log in anymore. It asks to use authentificator and in authentication it shows the code but not the window where to write the code and I can’t use my account anymore.

    Hi @Krama Aiga (LV0308VM),

I’ve gone through your description, and I’m really sorry you’re running into this issue. From what you’ve described, it’s very likely happening because your previous MFA session was tied to your old phone, so your new device is not properly receiving or completing the authentication process.

Before going further, could you kindly confirm if you’re using this account as an end user or if you have an admin role in your organization?

If you are an end user, please kindly ask your Microsoft 365 administrator to follow the steps in this guide to revoke existing MFA sessions and require re-registration: Manage authentication methods for Microsoft Entra multifactor authentication - Microsoft Entra ID

This process only takes a few minutes and is very effective in cases like yours. It clears out old sign-in sessions, and the next time you log in, you’ll be prompted to register MFA again on your new phone. That usually resolves the issue and allows the Authenticator app to work normally, including receiving approvals or generating usable codes.

As this is a user-to-user support forum, I can only provide guidance based on experience with similar cases and cannot make direct changes. In your situation, since the account is fully managed by your organization, only your admin team has permission to update these security settings.

That said, I truly hope this helps point you in the right direction so you can regain access as soon as possible without further disruption.

If your situation is slightly different, or if you happen to have an admin role, feel free to leave a comment under this post with more details. I’ll be more than happy to continue assisting you within my scope.

Thank you so much for taking time.
