can I keep a hotmail email if I cancel my account?

I have two microsoft accounts. I want to delete one, but I use the email in outlook for this account. Can I use that email in my second account?

Hello

Hotmail.com address is already its own Microsoft account, so if you cancel the account, it also cancels the hotmail.com address.

Microsoft doesn't allow transferring hotmail.com or outlook.com address from one Microsoft account to another. Once canceled, it cannot be reopened either in your case. So I am afraid the answer is no. Sorry.
