increasing login issues over time - live.com

More and more frequently, I'm trying to log into my Live mail, and 2 tier authentication occurs. I find this intolerable.

I try to use a code sent by text to my phone, I find this intolerable. Forced to solve a puzzle to prove a robot isn't controlling my phone. I find this intolerable.

More and more often, even this doesn't work. "This method is not working right now." I find this intolerable.

Try to use email verification to another Live account. It will also block me. Requires 2 tier authentication. I find this intolerable.

Try to use text, "This method is not working right now.", forced to use another method. I find this intolerable.

Somewhere along the line I learned that Microsoft is pivoting away from text messaging authentication. I find this intolerable. Is this true??

Year after year, I find more and more reason to pivot away from Microsoft altogether. Please explain to me why logging into my Hotmail account has to be so aggravating when logging in from several locations and devices, while my password is super secure and uncrackable, ever since the last time I was forced to change my password when Microsoft got hacked!!
