How do you receive a refund if you upgraded from 365 Basic to 365 Personal.

I upgraded my subscription from 365 Basic to 365 Personal. Will Microsoft refund the money for the 365 Basic subscription that I have already paid?

When you upgrade from a version of Microsoft 365 to a version with more features, you are charged for a new subscription, and the remaining time on the previous subscription is converted on a pro-rata basis to the new subscription, that process is explained on this link.
