Recovery of Outlook email address.

Hi DeDo, if this Outlook.com address was deleted because it was closed or inactive for too long, then it cannot be recovered or used again.

Microsoft’s official article says that after the close-account grace period has passed, the Microsoft account is permanently deleted. It also says that if an account has not been signed in to for more than two years, it may have been deleted and can no longer be reopened. So in this situation, there is no manual recovery process that Microsoft Support can use to give the same email address back. The practical option is to create a new Outlook.com address.
