Lost Microsoft Authenticator codes for my Rockstar Games account – can I recover them?

Hi,

I’m locked out of logging into my Rockstar Games account on my laptop because I no longer have access to the Microsoft Authenticator code I originally set up for 2-Step Verification.

I still have access to:

• The email address on my Rockstar account.
• My Rockstar account itself on my phone through my browser.

However, Rockstar requires the current authentication code to disable or change 2-Step Verification, and I don’t have that code anymore.

I believe I was using Microsoft Authenticator. Is there any way to recover the authenticator entry or restore the 2FA codes if I’ve changed phones? If not, is there anything Microsoft can do, or do I need Rockstar to reset 2-Step Verification on their end?
