Hi, tried to ask a question before but i got kicked out

Still struggling to get rid of old work email that pops up if i hit "add account" to my One Drive settings.

To remove an old work email from OneDrive sign-in, sign out of OneDrive, open Windows Settings > Accounts > Email & Accounts, and remove the old work account. Then open Credential Manager and delete any saved credentials related to that email before signing back in.

Can you go to your Windows Settings > Accounts > Access Work or School (note, it is the briefcase icon, not the person icon). Then see if the organization email address is still listed? If so, click on it and then disconnect it.

Next, type control panel in the search on the taskbar to launch it, then go to Credential Manager > Windows credential tab, look for anything referencing the organization account, right click and delete all that is found.

Hold down Windows + R keys, copy and paste the following path into the run box (one at a time please), and press enter to launch the folder. When it is launched, delete everything in the folder. If you run into any sub folder that will not allow you to delete, go into that sub folder, and delete from within.

Hi again, I went into the "Access work or school" area and nothing there ( which is good ). Will try the other steps. The main thing is that for a bunch of MS apps ( OneDrive, TeamViewer, Outlook, MS365 ) I'm logged into my personal account. However, if i go to add another account, it will still default to my old work email address. I'm trying to get rid of any reference to my old work account. Will keep you advised :)

ps, i can't see anything in the windows Credentials re my old work. I did delete some of those in the last day or so, but the old email address still pops up if i attempt to add another account. Naturally , i can just leave as is, but the other day I got a pop up , asking me to log in.

Hi, did ok with the middle 3 things to run , but top and #5 had some files unable to be deleted. Something to do with my Dell Support Assist.

If the old work e-mail is listed in Windows Settings, specifically at Settings > Accounts > Access work or school, make sure that you remove it from there.

If the work account is listed in Windows Credential Manager, make sure to remove it from there as well.

Hi, my old work email address seems to be linked to "profile 2". I've deleted it as per above, but still popping up in other places. One Drive, Team Viewer, Outlook and MS365.

PS, i just logged out of Teams ( was logged into my hotmail a/c ). Still get the above work one - very weird :)
