usb port not registering my keyboard keeps saying needs troubleshooting

when i plug my keyboard in it wont work i figure out what was happening and it said that it needs troubleshooting and that its also saying that device unknown how do i fix it

Since the keyboard works on the left USB port and other USB devices also fail on the right USB port, this suggests the issue is with the USB port itself or its driver rather than the keyboard.

Try these steps:

  • Shut down the laptop completely.
  • Unplug the charger and any USB devices.
  • Hold the power button for 15-20 seconds.
  • Start the laptop and test the right USB port again.

If that does not help, open Device Manager and expand Universal Serial Bus controllers. Right-click each USB Root Hub and Generic USB Hub, then select Uninstall device. Restart the laptop afterward. Windows should reinstall the USB drivers automatically.

What is the make and model of the laptop?

Also, did the right USB port stop working recently, perhaps after a Windows update, driver update, or physical impact to the laptop?

    i already try to put other things in it like mouses that i also use before on the laptop and it still does not work the model of my laptop is a windows 11 Lenovo

    i used this keyboard before. my computer is a laptop the brand of my keyboard is red dragon the right usb port is the problem when i plug in the keyboard on the left one it works fine and no i dont see any error code when i open device manager
