A Microsoft file hosting and synchronization service.
To locate and cancel the extra OneDrive storage charge, follow these steps in order:
- Check if it is an extra OneDrive storage subscription
- Go to the Microsoft account Services & subscriptions page: https://account.microsoft.com/services
- Sign in with the same Microsoft account that is being billed.
- Look for any entries such as OneDrive, additional OneDrive storage, or similar under your subscriptions.
- If found, select Manage next to that subscription.
- Cancel the OneDrive / storage subscription (if it appears)
- On the subscription’s Manage page, select Cancel (or Upgrade or Cancel, depending on what is shown).
- Follow the on‑screen steps to complete cancellation.
- If instead of Manage you see Turn on recurring billing, the subscription is already set to expire on the date shown and will not renew; no further action is needed.
- If the OneDrive subscription still does not appear
The charge may be:
- On a different Microsoft account, or
- Purchased through a third party (Google Play, Apple App Store, retailer).
- Confirm that the account signed in at https://account.microsoft.com/services is the same one used when the charge was set up.
- If the subscription was purchased through Google Play or the Apple App Store, cancel it through their billing systems (Microsoft subscriptions bought there must be cancelled with them).
- If the charge or subscription still cannot be found
Contact Microsoft billing support so they can look up the charge and subscription details:
- Go to the Account & Billing Help / Contact Microsoft Support entry point from the billing help pages and follow the prompts to reach Billing support for subscriptions.
Once the OneDrive/additional storage subscription is cancelled, storage will revert to the free allowance after the current paid period ends. If more than the free allowance is in use at that time, uploading and syncing new files may be blocked until storage is reduced.
