We are trying to onboard to Azure Trusted Signing for a UK company and our Public identity validation has failed twice. The Azure portal only shows Failed and does not provide a specific rejection reason.

Trusted Signing account:

  • <mod: account-name removed>

Failed identity validation IDs:

<pii removed>

We already retried after correcting the submission details to match the company’s legal entity records and official business identifier. The second submission also used an individual company-domain email address rather than a generic mailbox. It still failed without explanation.

We have already reviewed the Trusted Signing FAQ and onboarding guidance. We are not looking for the general submission steps. We need help with the specific reason these failed validations were rejected and what action is required next.

Could a Microsoft moderator or support engineer please advise:

  1. What rejection category applied to these two failed identity validation requests
  2. Whether this needs to be reviewed in a private support channel because it is case-specific
  3. Whether there are known causes of repeated Failed outcomes where the portal provides no detailed reason

If private review is required, we can provide the company’s full legal details, business identifier, and submission values through a non-public channel.
