I spoke with a live chat agent a couple weeks ago who said someone would call me on designated Tuesday or Thursday but nobody called. We have no child involved.

The Live chat agent found some kind of program listed that I never heard of. We used to have a Word 360 or something like that subscription but I have no idea about this $129.99. Since nobody called me back as requested, I have disputed that charge with Wells Fargo.

We are old and trying to wade through your nearly impossible communications challenges is harrowing to say the least. If someone could identify what the charge is even for, then we could say yes or no on cancelling if it is a subscription. As long as it is NOT my solitaire game. Please help us.

thank you, Sue Guss (& Tom Guss)

Thanks, Sue. I would then suggest you to contact a Billing agent who can find out for you with the Transaction ID you can provide. I am afraid the forum Advisors do not have access to accounts.

Please contact Microsoft Support for further assistance.

Please go to the https://support.microsoft.com/contactus page

Type "Billing" and press Enter.

Please click on the "Contact support" button at the bottom.

Select the Product and Category for support based on your requirements.

    Hi Sue,

That is the Word 365 subscription you are talking about.

I would like to see a screenshot of https://account.microsoft.com/services page first before suggesting anything else.

I’m eager to hear back and work together to find a solution.

The specific charge cannot be identified from here, but there are clear steps to see exactly what it is and what to do next. Check what the charge is in the Microsoft account dashboard Go to the Manage your payments page of the Microsoft account dashboard: https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=2246882 Sign in with each Microsoft account that might be used (for example, any account that has ever been used to buy Microsoft 365/Office, Xbox, apps, or games). On Manage your payments, find the $129.99 charge and select Investigate next to it. This will walk through the most common reasons for a charge and help identify whether it is: A Microsoft subscription with recurring billing enabled (for example, Microsoft 365), A purchase made by someone else in the household using that card, A previously declined charge that was retried, A pre‑order or split order that just shipped, An in‑app purchase from an app or game. If there are multiple Microsoft accounts in the household, repeat this for each one. Check Microsoft order history Sign in at https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders with the same account(s). Select Payment & billing > Order history and set the date range to include the date of the $129.99 charge. Look for any order with Completed or Redeemed status that matches $129.99. Select Order details to see what product or subscription it is. If it is an unwanted or unknown subscription or purchase If the charge is tied to a Microsoft subscription and it is not wanted, follow the guidance in How to investigate a billing charge from Microsoft to locate the subscription and then cancel it from the Microsoft account dashboard. If it is an accidental or unauthorized purchase, use the refund process described in Returning items you bought from Microsoft for exchange or refund (linked from the context) or contact Microsoft Store Support for help. If the charge does not appear in any Microsoft account If the $129.99 charge cannot be found in any Microsoft account’s Manage your payments or Order history, treat it as a potentially fraudulent or misapplied charge. In that case, disputing the charge with the bank or card issuer (as already done with Wells Fargo) is the correct step. The bank may reverse the charge as a chargeback if it is unauthorized. The bank or card issuer may also recommend blocking the card and issuing a new one to prevent further unauthorized charges. If direct help from an agent is needed Use the I need to talk to a customer support agent entry point from the Microsoft account help page to reach a support agent and provide the date, amount ($129.99), and last four digits of the card. The agent can then search for matching transactions across Microsoft systems.

Thank you, I will try to find my way through your suggestions.
