Microsoft 365 features that help users manage their subscriptions, account settings, and billing information.
To discuss renewal and speak with a real person for a Microsoft 365 home subscription and billing issue, use Microsoft Support and request a live agent.
For home (consumer) Microsoft 365 subscriptions:
- Go to the Microsoft Support contact page: https://support.microsoft.com/contactus/
- Sign in with the Microsoft account that has the subscription.
- In the search box, type "Chat with an agent" and press Enter.
- Select "Contact support".
- On the Products & services step, choose the Microsoft 365 & Office category.
- On the Category step, choose a billing/subscription option such as "Manage my subscription".
- Follow the prompts to connect with a support agent.
- Choose either Chat with a support agent in the browser, or select the Call me back option and provide a phone number so support can call.
If the subscription was purchased through a third party (for example, Apple, Google, or a retail store), renewal and billing changes may need to be handled through that third party’s billing support.
If there is an upcoming auto-renewal that needs to be stopped instead of discussed by phone, it can also be managed online:
- Go to https://account.live.com and sign in.
- Go to Services.
- For the Microsoft 365 subscription, select Manage.
- Turn off auto-renewal or cancel so the subscription expires on the renewal date.
