I have an email that I keep getting messages that my OneDrive is full and when I go to sign in says it will send code because password is wrong but never sends a code to the email it is sending messages about OneDrive to. And they keep taking money out of my bank for storage I cannot access.

To resolve both the sign-in/verification issue and the unwanted OneDrive storage charges, follow these steps in order:

    1. Check which Microsoft account is actually being billed
    • Go to the Microsoft account dashboard: Get help with your Microsoft account and select Sign in under Your Microsoft account or Billing & payments.
    • If the OneDrive emails are going to one address but billing is under another, there may be more than one Microsoft account involved. The message "It looks like this email is used with more than one account from Microsoft" indicates this scenario. See the guidance under Which OneDrive account to use in Why did I get a message saying my files will be erased?.
    1. Fix the verification-code/sign-in problem If a verification code is not arriving:
    • On the verification screen, choose I don't have any of these and follow the prompts to update or replace the security info, as described in Troubleshoot Microsoft verification code issues.
    • Be aware: if all old security info is removed and replaced, the account can be restricted for 30 days while changes take effect.
    • If sign-in is still not possible, use the sign-in helper from Get help with your Microsoft account under Can't sign in.
    1. Stop charges and manage OneDrive storage once signed in After regaining access to the correct account:
    • Go to the Billing & payments section from Get help with your Microsoft account to view and manage subscriptions, including any OneDrive or Microsoft 365 storage plans.
    • Cancel or change the subscription that is charging the bank account.
    • Check OneDrive storage status using My OneDrive says it's full. Common causes include:
      • Exceeding the storage quota.
      • Storage quota changes after a subscription or promotion expires.
      • Shared folders pushing the account over quota.
    1. Contact Microsoft Support to speak with an agent If self-service steps do not resolve the issue or access is still blocked:
    • Use the Contact Support flow described in the Q&A guidance:
      • Go to Contact Support from OneDrive billing questions or from Get help with your Microsoft account.
      • Sign in with any working Microsoft account (create a new one if needed) and choose a support path such as Microsoft 365 and OfficeManage Account Security or Billing & payments.
      • Select Chat with a support agent in your web browser when offered.
    • Explain that OneDrive storage is being billed on an account that cannot be accessed because verification codes are not delivered, and provide the email address that receives the OneDrive-full notices.
    1. If OneDrive is reported as full or files at risk

For any unresolved billing or access problems after these steps, continue working directly with Microsoft Support via the Contact Support options in the referenced articles.
