I have been trying to upgrade to Premium 365, but I keep getting stuck in a loop. I talked through chat last night, and they gave me a useless number to call, and it hung up on me several times. I need help, and I need to speak to a person.

To speak with a person and get help upgrading to Microsoft 365 Premium (Family, Personal, or Premium), use one of these supported options:

    1. Contact Microsoft 365 support for home subscriptions
      • Go to Contact Microsoft Support.
      • Enter a brief description such as “upgrade to Microsoft 365 Premium billing issue” and select Get Help.
      • If the automated suggestions do not resolve the issue, choose Contact Support.
      • Under Products and Services, select Microsoft 365 & Office.
      • For category, choose Manage my subscription or similar.
      • Choose either Chat with a support agent or Call me back to speak with a person.
    2. Use Microsoft 365 customer service and support for home products
      • If there is an active or trial Microsoft 365 Basic, Personal, Family, or Premium subscription, chat or call-back support from a technical support expert is available.
      • Start from the same support entry point above and select the subscription product when prompted.
    3. If phone support is preferred

If the upgrade loop continues even after contacting support, ask the agent specifically to review the Microsoft account’s subscription status and billing, confirm whether any existing Microsoft 365 subscription is blocking the upgrade, and, if needed, have them adjust the subscription or provide a direct purchase/upgrade path.
