Recently, my microsoft account got hacked by an email called "98***** **.holocaust.wtf" the "*" is a letter that was not shown to me, and when I tried to log in, it said the account was not existing, so most likely the hacker deleted the account. I bought my first minecraft account with that hacked account (before it was hacked) and was wondering if I could get the account back. Thanks. (gmail account btw, and i used a mac)

hey man, i don’t know if your issue was resolved, but i stumbled across the same issue, after playing minecraft my account has been hacked and the microsoft email has been changed to “xpro***@holocaust.com”.

your account is most likely also not deleted but just changed.

I contacted microsoft account support and through a live chat with microsoft they are currently looking into it. if you haven’t tried yet i suggest you should

Click on "Search" and follow the instructions provided.

I understand how stressful it can be to lose access to your account. Unfortunately, if the Microsoft Self-help tool didn’t work and the email address linked to the account has already been changed, the account is essentially lost.

If you have any active subscriptions linked to that account, you may need to contact your bank or card provider to block the recurring charge and prevent future billing.

I know this isn’t the outcome you were hoping for, but I recommend creating a new Microsoft account and setting up stronger security options like two-step verification to help protect it moving forward.

If sign-in now shows “We couldn't find an account with that username” or “That Microsoft account doesn't exist,” the Microsoft account is likely closed or no longer exists.

For a hacked or deleted Microsoft account, recovery is only possible through the official automated flows. If those fail, the account and its associated services (including Minecraft entitlements tied to that Microsoft account) generally cannot be restored.

Use these steps:

Confirm whether the email is still a Microsoft account
- Go to https://account.microsoft.com and enter the Gmail address that was used.
- If a password prompt appears, the email is still a Microsoft account and recovery is still possible.
- If the message says the account doesn’t exist, the account may have been closed. See the guidance in How to check if your email address is a Microsoft account.
If the account still exists but was hacked
- Follow the hacked-account guide: How to recover a hacked or compromised Microsoft account.
- Use the Sign-in Helper tool to be routed to the correct recovery options: Start.
