To speak to a live Microsoft support agent about a Microsoft 365/Office subscription, account, or billing issue, use one of these supported paths:

    1. Use the Get Help / Contact Support experience
      1. Go to the Microsoft Support site: Contact – Microsoft Support (from context).
      2. Sign in with the Microsoft account that owns the subscription.
      3. In the search box, type Contact or Chat with an agent and press Enter.
      4. Select Get Help, then choose Contact support.
      5. Go to the Products & Services tab and select the Microsoft 365 & Office category.
      6. For category, choose something like Manage my subscription or the option that best matches the account/billing issue.
      7. Confirm, then choose either:
        • Chat with a support agent (opens a live chat in the browser), or
        • Call me back (enter a phone number so support can call back).
If chat shows as unavailable, try again during business hours in the region; availability can be limited by time of day.
    2. Use the Get Help app on Windows (alternative path)
      1. On a Windows device, open the Get Help app (search for Get Help in the Start menu).
      2. Type Chat with an agent and press Enter.
      3. Select Contact support at the bottom.
      4. Choose the product/service (for example, Microsoft 365 or Office) and follow the prompts until the options to Chat with a support agent or Call me back appear.

For issues that involve charges, refunds, or subscription confusion, the billing support agent can review the account details securely and explain what is happening with the subscription and payments.
