Ensure the PC is connected to the Internet when ripping so Windows Media Player can retrieve album and track information automatically.
Then try updating the album info after ripping:
- Open Windows Media Player.
- In the Player Library, search for the album or song that has missing info.
- Right‑click the album and select Find album info.
- If the correct album appears, select it and follow the on‑screen instructions to update album art and media info.
- If it does not appear, follow the page instructions to search again with different criteria or manually add the media info.
If an error appears saying privacy settings must be changed:
- In Windows Media Player, select Organize > Options.
- Go to the Privacy tab.
- Select Update music files by retrieving media info from the Internet.
- Select OK, then try Find album info again.
If album art still does not display, it may be unavailable for download or in an unsupported file format.
