How to disable "Rounded Corners" around browser web content in the latest Microsoft Edge update?

Hi,
As shown in the attached screenshot, the latest Edge update (Version 149.0.4022.52) has forced a white border/rounded corners around the browser window.
This UI element is very distracting. I have checked both Settings > Appearance and edge://flags, but the option to disable "rounded corners" has been completely removed from my version.
Questions:
Is there a Registry key to disable this border?
Why was the toggle removed from the settings?
Please provide a way to get back the square, edge-to-edge view. I want the web content to touch the browser edges like before.

Plenty of people don't find this design attractive.
You already had a working solution — the flag that let us choose.
Removing that choice and imposing one look on everyone is exactly why you're getting so much backlash.
Bring back the option to disable rounded corners.

2026-06-10T15:59:05.5966667+00:00 Seemes to be fixed with Version 149.0.4022.62 - can anyone confirm?Also the white line beneath the address bar when favourites bar is hidden also seems to be fixed.
Edit: I think it's the launch params only working when startup boost is disabled. I set it up yesterday but didn't get it working. Today it worked once when I thought it was .62 fixing it. I moved to Brave already anyway.. -

I have now switched to the Brave browser, which I already like very much. Thank you MS for pushing me away from Edge.

2026-07-06T14:48:51.12+00:00 the first time when rounded corners were introduced, there was a feedback request triggert each time you deactivated the new look - and each time i voted against this new design. now it is forced with no clean opt-out mechanism. the '--enable-features=msForceNoRoundedCornerAndMargin' as startup parameter is now the last anchor and just a matter of time to vanish.
all these comments here are urging you, microsoft, to bring back a clean and sustaining opt-out mechanism which should in my opinion reside within the regular edge settings!

They certainly aren't necessary on the Windows desktop.
