Hi, I had recently believe to had been hacked off of my Minecraft account. My phone number is-removed for privacy-. My Minecraft display name was Yamatoishere, however it was changed to PepsyGGx. Mojang does not have an official customer support web page, hence I came here for help. Is there any possible way I can recover my account, as it has not been more than 3 days since I got hacked. If possible, can one of your staff please let me know if you can recover my account and my minecraft progress, as I cannot access minecraft without my microsoft account.

Account and game access can only be recovered through the official Microsoft account recovery process and Minecraft’s own support; forum staff or support agents cannot directly restore accounts or progress.

    Follow these steps immediately:

    1. Secure the Microsoft account
      • Go through the official hacked/compromised account flow:
        • Use the guide in How to recover a hacked or compromised Microsoft account and follow all steps in order, including:
          1. Scan devices for malware and remove any threats before changing passwords.
          2. Change the Microsoft account password to a strong, unique one using the instructions in the article.
          3. Review account settings (connected accounts, forwarding, automatic replies) to remove anything the attacker added.
      • If sign-in is blocked or unusual activity is detected, review and secure the account from the Security basics page as described in What happens if there's an unusual sign-in to your account. Use Review activity and mark any activity that is not yours, then choose Secure your account and change the password.
    2. If you cannot sign in to the Microsoft account
      • Use the standard recovery paths only:
        • Start with the guidance in I can’t sign in to my Microsoft account (linked from the unusual sign-in article).
        • If that fails, use Forgot my password on the sign-in page and choose I think someone else is using my Microsoft account, then follow the steps.
      • If the normal reset options do not work because security info was changed, use the Sign-in Helper and the Microsoft account recovery form:
        • From Help with the Microsoft account recovery form, ensure there is a working email address (different from the hacked account) where Microsoft can contact about the request.
        • Fill out the recovery form from a device and location previously used with the account, and provide as much accurate information as possible (old passwords, approximate creation date, services used, etc.).
      • If a recovery attempt is rejected, Account recovery unsuccessful explains that recovery can be retried up to two times per day and recommends reviewing the guidance again before resubmitting.
    3. If the hacker fully replaced security info
      • As described in the Microsoft Q&A threads in the context, if the account recovery form and Sign-in Helper do not succeed and the attacker has replaced the account’s security information, there is no alternative method for Microsoft Support or forum staff to restore the account. Support agents cannot override the automated recovery process or directly change account details.
    4. Minecraft-specific help
      • If the Microsoft account cannot be recovered, Minecraft access and progress tied to that account may not be restorable through Microsoft. The Q&A guidance recommends contacting Minecraft Support directly to see if they can offer any alternative options for the Minecraft profile.

Do not post phone numbers or other personal information publicly; use only the official recovery tools and support channels referenced in the documentation.
