Unable to access Onedrive

Dear IT Support Team,

I am writing to request assistance with my OneDrive account access.

When I try to log in to OneDrive, I receive the following message:

“Access denied. This page has been blocked because it violates the acceptable use policy in the Terms of Use. If you believe this is an error, please contact your administrator.”

I need to use OneDrive for my university coursework. Could you please help me check whether my Microsoft 365 / OneDrive account has been restricted, and advise me on how to restore access? My account is: [Moderator note: personal info removed]

    First, I’d like to clarify that this is a public peer-to-peer community forum. We are not Microsoft Support, and as forum moderators, our role is limited to providing general guidance and directing users to official resources. We do not have access to Microsoft internal systems, backend engineering tools, or the ability to investigate tenant-level restrictions directly. 

    May I know whether you are using a Microsoft 365 Developer Program tenant? 

    Based on the Microsoft article, this issue may occur when an account or activity within the organization is flagged for potentially violating the Acceptable Use Policy for Microsoft Online Services. 

    I also found a similar thread where several users reported the same issue, and their cases needed to be escalated internally by Microsoft Support for further investigation: Acceptable Use Policy violation notice on Microsoft 365 Developer E5 sandbox - SharePoint read-only… 

    Given this, the most effective next step is to raise a support ticket with the Microsoft Support team by selecting Contact support on the SharePoint Acceptable Use Policy page in the Microsoft 365 admin center for further assistance.
