Hi Mike Molenda
Thanks for sharing the details and the screenshots. Based on what you described, it looks like the account is still being detected as having a Family Safety/parental consent relationship, even though your current Family page does not show any child members.
Please try signing in directly to the parental consent management page here: Manage parental consent. The consent can only be removed by the adult Microsoft account that originally granted it. If no child accounts appear there, it can mean the consent was granted by another adult account, or by using another Microsoft account.
A few things worth checking:
- Sign in to the consent page using any other Microsoft account that may previously have been used as a family organizer or parent/guardian account.
- Check whether any old family organizer account can still access Microsoft Family Safety.
- Confirm that the date of birth on your own Microsoft account is correct, since age and region rules can affect whether account changes are allowed.
- If nothing appears under any possible organizer account, contact Microsoft Support again and specifically ask them to review the account for a stuck or hidden Family Safety/parental consent association. Include your previous request number and the exact error message.
Unfortunately, this is not something other users or Community moderators can manually clear from the forum, because it involves account-level consent data. If the consent record is not visible to you through the normal pages, Microsoft account support would need to investigate it from their side.
Thank you for your understanding
