Currently, my Outlook application suddenly lost the ability to open on my MacBook Pro. I attempted to deinstall and reinstall the application, but the problem persisted. What might be the cause, and how might I fix this?

Hi @M A

May I ask what is your macOS and New Outlook Mac version? You can check Outlook version in Outlook > About Outlook.

If you are unable to open Outlook, you can go to Finder > Application > press Space bar > A pop-up will show your Outlook version.

May I ask if you download Outlook from App Store or from Microsoft website? If you got it from App Store, please uninstall it and redownload it via Update history for Office for Mac - Office release notes | Microsoft Learn.

You can either choose to download the latest version (16.109.2) or previous version if you like.

If the issue persists, try creating a new Mac user and try to launch there. Add a user or group on Mac – Apple Support
