Microsoft 365 features that help users manage their subscriptions, account settings, and billing information.
Only the subscription holder (the family organizer who purchased Microsoft 365 Family) can directly see the exact expiry date. Family members who are just shared users cannot see that date from their own Microsoft account.
From the available information:
- The organizer can see the expiry date by signing in to the Services & subscriptions page at https://account.microsoft.com/services with the account that bought Microsoft 365 Family. The expiry date is shown under the Microsoft 365 subscription.
- If the organizer’s password is lost, it must be recovered using Microsoft’s standard account recovery process. Without access to that organizer account, Microsoft does not provide another way for a shared family member to see the exact expiry date.
- If the subscription expires or sharing stops, the family member’s benefits end, but files remain intact. The OneDrive storage returns to its previous size, and the desktop Office apps switch to view‑only mode.
So, to know the exact expiry date, the organizer must regain access to the purchasing account and check the Services & subscriptions page. As a shared family member, there is no supported method to see that date independently.
