I am 78 years old and have had your system on my computer for a couple of years my current credit card for subscription payment was compromised and has been replaced with a new card that's why you can't process the payment. I cannot find a way to update the new details, unless I am missing something and I don't believe I am.

I don't have a Password or Passkey.

I can't navigate or understand your endless instructions as they are geared to a younger generation of users.

I can't talk to anyone, and I am extremely frustrated and only want to provide new details for payment and get out of the endless circle your site has had me on PLEASE HELP. I will provide card details in your response if that is possible or call me in Australia on 0407153587.

Thankyou,

Paul Foster.

To update the payment card for a Microsoft 365 / Microsoft account subscription, the payment method must be changed on the Microsoft account billing site. Card details cannot be safely provided or updated through email, chat, or forums.

Use these steps in the simplest possible path:

    1. Go to the Microsoft account payment page: https://account.microsoft.com/billing/payments
    2. Sign in with the same Microsoft account that is used for the subscription.
    3. On the Payment options page, find the old card that is no longer valid.
    4. Select View or edit card.
    5. Enter the new card number, expiration date, CVV, and billing address.
    6. Select Save.

If the subscription payment is already past due because the old card failed:

    1. Go to Services & subscriptions: https://account.microsoft.com/services
    2. Sign in with the same Microsoft account.
    3. Find the subscription that shows past due and select Pay now.
    4. When prompted, either update the existing payment method or add the new card.
    5. After the payment method is set, select Next to complete the payment.

If there is trouble changing or removing a payment option (for example, if there is a past-due balance that blocks removal), follow the guidance in Pay for a past-due Microsoft subscription and Troubleshoot payment option issues in the references below.

If navigation on the website is still too difficult, direct assistance from Microsoft Support is required. The billing and refund team can securely access the account and help update the payment method or resolve any past-due charges.

Do not send card numbers, expiry dates, CVV codes, or full phone numbers in any email, chat, or forum message.
