PRIOR!

Beste,

To stop the unwanted charges and request a refund, follow these steps:

    1. Cancel the subscription that is still being charged
      1. Go to https://account.microsoft.com/services and sign in with the same Microsoft account that was used to purchase the individual Microsoft 365 subscription.
      2. Look for any Microsoft 365 or other Microsoft subscriptions that are still listed.
      3. Select Manage next to the subscription.
        • If Manage is not shown and instead Turn on recurring billing appears, that subscription is already set to expire and will not be charged again.
      4. On the next page, select Cancel (or Upgrade or Cancel, depending on what is shown), then follow the instructions to complete cancellation.
    2. Check who the subscription was purchased from
      • If the individual subscription was purchased directly from Microsoft (via Microsoft Store / account.microsoft.com), it can be cancelled and refunded via the Microsoft account as above.
      • If it was purchased via Google Play or Apple App Store, cancellation and refund must be requested from their support:
      • If it was purchased from a third-party retailer (for example Amazon, Best Buy, Harvey Norman), contact that retailer directly to manage billing and request a refund.
    3. Request a refund for the incorrect charges
      • After cancelling the individual subscription that is still being billed, check refund eligibility for Microsoft 365 subscriptions by following the steps in the refund article. Not all cancellations result in a refund.
      • In certain countries (Canada, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Israel, Korea, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Turkey), cancelling may entitle to a prorated refund depending on subscription length.
    4. If the charge is not visible in the account
      • If no active individual subscription appears under Services & subscriptions, use the billing investigation guidance to identify which account or product is being charged.
      • If the charge still cannot be matched to any Microsoft account, contact Microsoft Support directly (Billing and Payment / Manage my subscription) so an agent can review the billing details.
      • If Microsoft and the bank determine the charge is unauthorized and cannot be linked to any subscription, the bank can process a dispute as a potentially fraudulent charge.
    5. When further help is needed
      • For unresolved billing or refund issues after following the above steps, contact Microsoft Support (category: Microsoft 365 & Office → Billing and Payment / Manage my subscription) and provide the dates, amounts, and last digits of the card used so they can locate the subscription and process cancellation/refund if eligible.
