hi I have lost all sound and need to down load audio service, but have no idea how to do it, can you help me please

Follow these steps on the laptop to restore sound; they reinstall or repair the audio “service” (driver and services) without needing a manual download.

1. Check output device and volume

• Select the Speakers icon on the taskbar.
• Click the arrow next to the volume slider and make sure the correct speakers/headphones are selected.
• Make sure volume is turned up and not muted.

2. Run the Windows audio troubleshooter

• Open the Get Help app and run the audio troubleshooter using this entry point: Run the troubleshooter in Get Help.
• Let it detect and fix common sound problems.

3. Verify cables and hardware

• Check Delete the driver software for this device if available, then select Uninstall.
• Restart the PC (Start > Power > Restart). Windows will reinstall a driver automatically.

6. Use the generic Windows audio driver (Windows 10) If sound still does not work:

• Open Device Manager.
• Expand Sound, video and game controllers.
• Right‑click the audio device and select Update driver.
• Select Browse my computer for drivers > Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer.
• Select High Definition Audio Device and click Next.

7. Check Windows Update

• Go to Start > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update > Check for updates.
• Install any available updates and restart the PC.

If after these steps there is still no sound and Windows shows “No audio device is installed,” or there is no activity in Device Manager under Sound, video and game controllers, install the latest audio driver from the laptop manufacturer’s support site or contact the device manufacturer for hardware diagnostics.
