How to cancel my subscription?

I want to cancel my subscription. I do not want Microsoft account to drain my account either monthly payments anymore. Please help

Please sign in to your Microsoft account and review these pages:

Services & subscriptions: https://account.microsoft.com/services see if there’s any active or new subscription
Look for your Microsoft 365 subscription and select "Manage".
Then choose "Cancel subscription" and follow the prompts.
Once it's canceled, you may see an option to request a refund, if you're eligible, it’ll appear there automatically.

If there's nothing listed there, check order history:

Please sign in to your Microsoft account’s billing page at https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders
Adjust the date range to include the purchase date.
Then click “Show details” under each order to see what the charge is for.
If it doesn’t look familiar, click “Order help” and then select “How to investigate a billing charge.” Follow the prompts to investigate the billing charges and find out more about them.

If you don’t see anything unusual, to help narrow down the issue:

How did you get notified about the charge? (bank alert, email, etc.)
What exactly does the charge description say in your statement?
Do you have another Microsoft account (work, old email, family member) where your card might be added?

To stop Microsoft 365 from charging the account and cancel the subscription, follow these steps based on the type of subscription.

For personal/home Microsoft 365 subscriptions (Basic, Personal, Family, Premium)

Go to https://account.microsoft.com/services and sign in with the same Microsoft account that was used to purchase the subscription.
Under Services & subscriptions, find the Microsoft 365 subscription.
Select Manage.
- If Turn on recurring billing is shown instead of Manage, the subscription is already set to expire on the date shown and will not be charged again.
On the next page, select Cancel (or Upgrade or Cancel, depending on what is shown).
Follow the prompts to confirm cancellation.
- Access to the subscription continues until the current term ends, but no further recurring charges are made.

If the goal is only to stop future charges but keep using the service until it expires, turning off recurring billing is sufficient:

Go to https://account.microsoft.com/services and sign in.
Locate the subscription and select Manage.
Select Turn off recurring billing and confirm.
- The subscription will end on the Expires on date and will not renew.

If the subscription was purchased through a third party

If Microsoft 365 was purchased through a third-party store (for example, Apple App Store, Google Play, or a retail partner), subscription management (including cancellation and stopping recurring billing) must be done with that provider. In that case, contact the third-party’s support as indicated at https://account.microsoft.com/services when selecting Manage for the subscription.

If there is trouble cancelling (for example, no cancel or turn off recurring billing option is visible), verify:

The correct Microsoft account is being used.
There are no overdue amounts on the subscription; overdue balances must be paid before cancellation.
