Can't seem to sign into youtube

To whom it may concern,

I'm not sure if I should be posting this here or not, but whenever I attempt to sign back in to YouTube, I'm given a prompt to use the outlook authentication tool where it tells me to select a number on my phone. This has been working just fine up until today, where I just don't get the prompt on my phone anymore. What do I do?

From the wording, it suggests you have. But I just want to make sure before I try and help you with this.

Hi Ryan!
It sounds like you're using the Microsoft Authenticator app (not Outlook) to handle two-step verification for your Google/YouTube account — this is normal since Microsoft Authenticator can store 2FA codes for any service including Google. Since the push notification has stopped appearing, open the Microsoft Authenticator app directly on your phone, find your Google account in the list, and tap it to reveal a rotating 6-digit code — enter that code manually on the YouTube sign-in screen instead of waiting for a notification.

If your Google account isn't listed in the app or no code appears, you'll need to recover access through Google directly at https://accounts.google.com/signin/recovery (https://accounts.google.com/signin/recovery), then re-enable 2-Step Verification and re-add it to Microsoft Authenticator.
