The new account is not getting Microsoft 365 because subscription benefits do not automatically move when accounts are changed or removed from a family group.

1. A Microsoft 365 subscription is tied to a single Microsoft account
   • One Microsoft account can have only one active Microsoft 365 for home subscription (Family or Personal).

   • The new account must accept the invitation. After acceptance, it will get:
     • 1 TB OneDrive storage
     • Rights to install and use the desktop Office apps
   • If sharing is stopped later, that account will again lose these benefits and see subscription prompts.
4. If the goal is to change the subscription owner
   • An existing Microsoft 365 subscription cannot be transferred to another Microsoft account.
   • To change the owner, recurring billing on the current subscription must be turned off and allowed to expire, then a new subscription must be purchased with the new account and shared again as needed.
